VAGINAL REJUVENATION SURGERY
Vaginal Rejuvenation Surgery (Vaginoplasty) refers to surgery to tighten the inside of the vaginal canal as well as the opening of the vagina to enhance friction i.e. improve sexual function during intercourse. Vaginal childbirth and or aging can cause damage to the nerves, muscles and supportive tissue in the vaginal canal and vaginal opening. In many women, this may result in less friction during intercourse, less sensation, feeling too loose and having a difficult time reaching orgasms which previously easier to achieve. Patients often say, “things are not the same since I delivered my children” “I just don’t feel anything any longer” “sex is no longer enjoyable” and “I feel stretched out”.
IMPROVE YOUR SEXUAL EXPERIENCE WITH VAGINAL REJUVENATION SURGERY
Most patients who complain of diminished sensation or friction during intercourse and have no other symptoms such as a vaginal bulge, pressure, painful intercourse can have a one hour vaginal surgical procedure designed to enhance friction during intercourse. The procedure is 90% successful (as determined by patients) one year after surgery. Vaginal rejuvenation surgery will effectively enhance the tautness and tightness of the vaginal walls and vaginal opening by decreasing the vaginal diameter and surgically repairing the damage caused by vaginal childbirth. The vaginal rejuvenation or vaginoplasty surgical technique required for each patient is individualized based upon the patients need for tightness. If the Dr Miklos and Moore’s vaginal rejuvenation is not successful or fails in the first two years after their initial surgery they will redo the surgery for no additional surgical fee. That is a 2-year guarantee.
In many cases, the damage to the vaginal walls and supportive tissues may be more extensive and affect the supportive of the pelvic organs such as the bladder, uterus and /or rectum. If this is the case, this foundation of support must be restored prior to vaginal rejuvenation surgery/vaginoplasty. Being fellowship trained in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Vaginal Surgery, Dr Miklos and Moore can ensure the proper diagnosis and repair of vaginal prolapse (cystocele, rectocele, uterine prolapse, enterocele as well as urinary incontinence) and then enhance the sexual function by incorporating cosmetic vaginal surgery, vaginal rejuvenation surgery (i.e. vaginoplasty) to achieve the best possible surgical results.
