VAGINAL REJUVENATION TREATMENT OPTIONS
PROCEDURES TO REJUVENATE AND RESTORE
Vaginal relaxation happens to many women, resulting in loss of sensation, friction, and pleasure. At Miklos & Moore, we are leaders in performing state-of-the-art surgical and non-surgical procedures that provide remarkable results and restore vaginal tightness.
Vaginal Rejuvenation, Vaginoplasty or vaginal tightening surgery is the ultimate procedure to fix vaginal laxity and enhance female intimacy and sexual gratification. Dr. Miklos & Moore have been helping patients who complain of vaginal laxity and less friction with intercourse since 2001. Through an artistic surgical technique they can actually reduce the vaginal diameter and tighten the internal and external vaginal canal to enhance friction with intercourse. Drs. Miklos & Moore were the first board certified urogynecologists in the U.S.A. to offer women vaginal rejuvenation surgery. Drs. Miklos and Moore have performed 1000’s of vaginal tightening procedures. CAN INSURANCE BE USED TO HELP PAY FOR VAGINAL REJUVENATION?
If you have UMR insurance, we may be able to help you use your benefits toward medically necessary treatment.
Many women experiencing vaginal relaxation also have an underlying medical diagnosis such as vaginal prolapse (Cystocele, Rectocele, or Uterine Prolapse) or urinary incontinence. When a functional condition is present, a portion of the procedure may be eligible for insurance coverage.
Unlike most vaginal rejuvenation centers, our surgeons evaluate for underlying prolapse and bladder conditions and can repair these medical issues at the same time as your procedure. We work with UMR plans to determine eligibility and help maximize your available benefits when medically appropriate.
Our goal is to treat both function and anatomy — not just cosmetic concerns.
“YOUR COSMETIC VAGINAL SURGERY RESULTS ARE only as good as your surgeon’s talent and artistic skills…”
HOW CAN I CHOOSE THE RIGHT SURGEON?
Why choose a Board Certified Urogynecologist & Reconstructive Vaginal Surgeon versus a Plastic Surgeon or General Gynecologist?
Plastic Surgeons – Total training time (after medical school) – 5-6 years — little time dedicated to vagina surgery.
Gynecologists –Total training time (after medical school) – 4 years – approx. 1.5 years dedicated to vaginal surgery.
Urogynecologists – Total training time (after medical school) – 6-7 years – with 3.5 – 4.5 years dedicated to vaginal surgery.
Drs. Miklos & Moore – Both surgeons are trained as Gynecologists, but have also trained an extra 4 years doing two fellowships – one leading to board-certification in Urogynecology & Reconstructive Vaginal Surgery (2 years) and a second fellowship in Minimally Invasive Reconstructive Vaginal Surgery (2 years). They have spent an extra 4 years dedicated to vaginal reconstructive surgery. Total training time (after medical school) – 8 years– with 5.5 years dedicated to Vaginal Reconstructive Surgery.
