FRENULECTOMY

Cosmetic vaginal surgery can include a rare but necessary procedure called a frenulectomy, it is most often needed during a labiaplasty in patients with prominent frenulum. The frenulum of the clitoris are the small arms which appear to anchor the clitoris at its base. The frenulum often is much more apparent in women who have had a labiaplasty as they look much larger after the labiaplasty has been performed and the minora look much larger.
